Class Enrollment Agreement

I hereby state that I am enrolling in the HypnoBirthing® class of my own free will and with the understanding that this is a program designed to teach me to use my own natural abilities to bring my mind and my body into a state of relaxation. I further understand that the content of these classes is in no way intended to be represented as medical advice or as a prescription for medical procedure. I am aware that I should seek the advice of a health-care provider to answer any health-related or pregnancy-related issues surrounding my pregnancy, my labor, or my birth.

I therefore agree that I will in no way hold the instructor of the HypnoBirthing® classes, or the HypnoBirthing Institute®, its owner, or its representatives responsible for any special circumstances that could arise as a result of my pregnancy, my labor, or the birth of my child; and I agree that neither I nor any member of my family will make any claim or initiate any suit against any of the above-named parties now or at any time in the future.

Missed/ Makeup Class Policy

It is vitally important to your HypnoBirthing education that you and your birthing companion attend each scheduled class. That being said, emergencies do come up necessitating a change in plans. I try to be sensitive to this so if you need to miss a class, I will do my best to set up a private makeup session with you at a time and place that is convenient for all parties involved. If there is space, you are welcome to sit in on another group series free of charge to make up the missed unit.

The no-show/no-call fee for a private makeup class is $100, payable by cash at the beginning of our make up session. This is in addition to the original tuition payment paid at the beginning of the series.

In the event that I need to miss a class due to an unforeseen circumstance (such as a family emergency or to attend a birth), I will alert all students as soon as possible, and arrange a make up session at no extra charge. Of course, I will do everything in my power to avoid such situations and to always keep open communication with students.
